Graphiti’s temporal model works: after six dated episodes it closed off the old CTO, headquarters and database facts, and point-in-time queries returned the right person for each date. Getting there was fragile, because the current FalkorDB images broke the browser and silently ignored date filters, and graphiti-core 0.31.2 ships without its httpx dependency. Search returns ranked facts rather than answers, so I added my own LLM step, and it missed one ownership change. I would use it for agent memory where facts change over time and I control the backend versions, and look at Zep when I need the managed enterprise version.
On enterprise fit: I didn’t score it, because Zep is the enterprise offering. Graphiti itself is Apache-2.0 and ran fully self-hosted. It sends PostHog telemetry by default (GRAPHITI_TELEMETRY_ENABLED=false turns it off), and the SDK has no access control: data is only separated by group_id, which on FalkorDB means a separate graph.
